KINGS OF PERGAMON. Eumenes II, 197-159 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 16.58 g, 1 h). Diademed head of Philetairos to right. Rev. ΦIΛETAIΡOΥ Athena enthroned left, resting her left elbow on shield and crowning dynastic name with a wreath held in her right hand; in background, spear; to left, below her arm, Δ/A; to outer left, thyrsos; to right, bow. SNG Paris -. Westermark V.CXXXI-V.CXXXII. Rare. A nicely toned example. Slightly rough and with some cleaning scratches, otherwise, very fine.
